Forest Hills is a centrally-located residential neighborhood located in Queens. It is bordered by two of the largest parks in the borough – 1,255-acre Flushing Meadows-Corona Park and 544-acre Forest Park. Though it has an urban vibe, it has maintained a quieter, suburban lifestyle. There are multiple apartment buildings scattered throughout with a number of luxury and high-rise condos. The Forest Hills Gardens section was built as a planned garden-city community and includes many single-family attached and free-standing Tudor-Norman style homes. Austin Street is the most popular and visited street filled with charming shops cafes and restaurants. Notable residents have included actor Ray Romano, singer-songwriter Paul Simon and rapper and actress Awkwafina.
