About College Point Neighborhood

College Point is a working-middle-class neighborhood in Northeastern Queens. It is a diverse, mostly residential community with some industrial areas. The neighborhood also has a strong commercial presence, with convenient access to supermarkets and clothing stores. Salty breezes permeate the residences along the north shoreline, while the southern portion of the neighborhood is dominated by industrial facilities and other businesses.
