About Briarwood Neighborhood

Briarwood is an area nearby Jamaica, Queens, and next door to Jamaica Hills. It is one of Queens most diverse middle-class neighborhoods. Briarwood has a good mix of both apartment building complexes as well as single-family homes and classic Queens-style rowhouses. Briarwood is also a great neighborhood to live in for access to the MTA trains. There are two stops along the F train in Briarwood, being approximately 40 minutes from Midtown, Manhattan, making this area a viable choice for commuters to the city.
