Stuyvesant Heights Apartments for Rent
About Stuyvesant Heights Neighborhood
Stuyvesant Heights is a residential neighborhood located in north-central Brooklyn in the eastern subsection of Bedford-Stuyvesant. It was one of two villages (the other being Bedford) that combined to form Bedford-Stuyvesant. The area is a designated historic district so no new construction has been or will take place. The housing in this area mostly consists of historic brownstones, old apartment buildings and 19th-century rowhouses, most of which retain their original features. Fulton Park is the nearest green space for residents. Locals never have to travel to far for activities or good food since Bed-Stuy is filled with hip venues, bars, and restaurants. It borders Williamsburg, so many hipsters also visit this area frequently.
