Seagate Apartments for Rent
About Seagate Neighborhood

Seagate (also known as Norton’s Point) is a coastal, gated community overlooking Gravesend Bay and Lower Bay in the southwestern portion of Brooklyn. Housing consists mostly of single and two-family Mediterranean-type houses, mid-size condos and gilded-age mansions. There is no subway access and the express buses take about an hour and a half to reach Manhattan. The two landmarks in the community are the Coney Island Light, a lighthouse built in 1890 and The chapel, built in 1901 and uses for community and social events. The 8,000 full-time residents pay $3,000 per year for sues and charges to the Sea Gate Association.
