Marine Park is a waterfront residential neighborhood located in the southeastern portion of Brooklyn, between Mill Basin and Flatlands. For outdoor activities, residents enjoy the spacious 798-acre Marine Park, the largest public park in Brooklyn, which boasts everything from an 18-hole golf course to bike greenways. The population includes mostly Italians, Irish, Russians and Jews. Families and young professional make up most of the residents. Housing includes mostly brick colonials, Tudor-style homes and attached and detached one and two-family houses. There is a quiet suburban feel to the neighborhood. A big draw to residents and visitors alike is the fact that it provides access to a natural, unobstructed waterfront views.
