Manhattan Beach Apartments for Rent
About Manhattan Beach Neighborhood

Manhattan Beach is waterfront residential neighborhood located in the southern tip of Brooklyn bordering the Atlantic Ocean to the south and east, Brighton Beach to the west and Sheepshead Bay to the north. Rockaway Beach is visibly located just across the water. Manhattan Beach was conceived as a private vacation spot for the wealthy, but in 1955 became a popular summertime destination for all NYC residents. Most residents are middle to upper-class Russians. The majority houses consist of one and two-family homes and there are many rentals available for steep prices. The beach is smaller and much less crowded than Coney Island and offers parking space, picnic benches, BBQ pits and showers to rinse off.
