The area generally consists of a mix of low and mid-rise apartment buildings, and single and multi-family homes, some of which are historic. Depending on who you ask Tremont Park, a well-maintained green oasis in an urban environment, is a park located within the neighborhood of Tremont, or outside of it in East Tremont. Richman Park features beautiful natural boulders. While MetroNorth stops in Tremont, you can also catch the B/D line at the Grand Concourse or the 2/5 line in East Tremont. Retail businesses line East Tremont Ave, which provides a major convenience for the residence of this area. There's a good mix of both rentals and homeownership in Tremont as well, all of which comes with Bronx affordability.
